I can never remeber the rules about stripes and curvy women, I am a busty size 14. Thanks

yes this should be avoided, not because of stripes but because it's shapeless and will make you look a lot bigger than you are. Busty women need more fitted clothes to show that you indeed have a waist.

HellonHeels · 23/11/2011 14:03

To be blunt I don't think that would suit you at all.

It has no shape and with a big bust would just hang off your boobs like a sack with no definition.

V necks and a more fitted shape would be my choice.

pictish · 23/11/2011 14:04

That is like an example of the one item of clothing you should NOT choose.
It will do you no favours at all.

lubeybooby · 23/11/2011 14:04

As a v busty and curvy woman no I wouldn't ever wear this

HellonHeels · 23/11/2011 14:04

x post with Hazle - and I totally agree!

Thanks for responses. I am looking for something comfortable and coatlike (but not as heavy) for a long haul flight - kinda going for that layering look as it will be hot at other end but I know planes can be freezing or boiling - never inbetween.

I am V busty and I like crochety ponchos with a v shape at the front

Something like this or this or my fave

I often wear things like this: v-neck should be deep enough so it won't pull over the bust.
