Help! It's DS's christening....

And I have nothing to wear that is warm enough, smart enough or that I can BF in. I want to look lovely, chic and seasonal as it's the week before Christmas.

I need it to be available via mail order ideally with a long returns date as currently overseas (in the tropics so zero chance of finding anything to wear here) for my own wonderful mummy to bring to Paris with her.

I'm 5ft6, mousish hair (will try to get highlights done before then so back to blonde), lightly tanned, blue eyes, mostly wear blues and teals, really don't do red/orange/yellow, prefer plain to print and have big BFing boobs (32F), relatively small waist, bit of a mummy tummy left (but could use control pants to sort that) and good legs, probably size 10/12.

Help me pleeeeeeease. This is my first 'event' as his Mummy and I want to look nice for the photos.

How dressy do you want to be?
Ive just got this www.fatface.com/skirts-and-dresses/mia-jersey-maple-print-dress/invt/32361/&bklist=icat,4,shop,womenswear,womensskirtsdresses
Our christening is more casual than smart tho iyswim. They also do it I navy and the front unbuttons all the way.
Any use? :)

How does FatFace sizing come up? And do you know what the length is like?

I could go for it in navy I think.

Oh and I want it to be a bit dressy because I won't be able to accessorise with DS grabbing at me! But not overdressed - I was thinking understatedly classy.

I think they're a bit big. I'd usually be a 10 but got an 8. The length is just above my knee. I'm 5foot 2 with a long body but very little legs.

It is jersey do not super dressy but v practical for chasing toddlers and carrying babies. :)

Good thanks Frak, the little man is almost 10 months now and funnily enough it's his Christening on Sunday. Both sides of the family start descending today and the house is really horribly untidy a little bit messy. Probably ought to do something about it really Grin. I popped onto the Viroids thread a couple of days ago, was feeling all wise with my big grown up boy and advice that 'this too shall pass'. How's your little man doing?

fraktious · 24/11/2011 19:10

7 months and teething again Sad

Good luck with the descending hordes and hope the christening goes beautifully. I will definitely have to make more of an effort to keep up with the viroids.
