Hunters wellies - true to size or neat fit?

Am looking at the half length ones - so calf width not so much of an issue. But are the feet true to size as I am an 8 - I can't size up.

I googled this yesterday as am buying some for hubby for Xmas and he is between a 9 and a 10, everything I saw said they were generous in size

Seemingly Greaves in town has a HUGE range if you need to see them in RL.

They are pretty true to size. I take a five and had plenty of room for really thick boot socks.

Yes - I think those prices are much of a muchness with Amazon.
I think I'll have a wee jaunt to Greaves - too many to choose from for me online!

I don't know whether to go for womens, unisex or mens. I don't have the daintiest of feet!

Oh drat the short ones are already reduced. I have trouble getting wellies on and off - other wise I'd go for the full length, full price ones. I wonder if I can be tempted..............

I dont honestly think the short ones are any good in this climate, the snow would fall into them surely if we get a repeat of the last 2 winters? GO on.....

Its more the getting the long ones on and off. I sometimes have to stay in my wellies till dh comes home from work!!

I find them small. I am a 7 but need an 8 so take my socks and the hunter sock liners.
