Perfect black trousers

So, I have a budget of around £50. Are Gap's modern bootcut ok? I am 5ft 10 and have always wanted a pair that actually skim around the heel of my high heeled shoes and not around the ankle. I need long length and a generous cut that doesn't make my thighs look like sausages. I am about a size 10, though looking at size guides, each shop can vary. Gap sizing seems ok, but never had any before. Any thoughts?

I find that gap trousers suit my shape and I'm a size 10 but they go on american sizing. Have found that I need a 4 in most of their trousers and jeans though, which is a uk 8 so think they are cut generously. They are very good at free returns and exchanges.if you order online.
