Make Up box sets

dont want anything in particular for xmas but i do need some new make up. DH wants to buy me something (no more than £100) so i said he could get me some new make up but it is pointless me giving him a list of individual items so thought about a gift set, like the ones that are mini vanity cases or palattes. has anyone seen any or recommend any.

my make up at the moment consists of body shop, rimmel, max factor and no7 products.

Saw this in an email from debenhams - it's Ruby from Ruby and Millie but I think you'd have to see it in person to judge the quality.

The thing is those box sets usually have about 50% duff stuff you will never use.

Better I think to go to a your favourite make up brand's counter in a department store and talk to a friendly member of staff. Tell them what about your budget and what you like, and that you are not buying today, but that you want to make a list up for DH and that he will come back to the same store

They should be really, give you loads of testers, and help you make up a list with product numbers, without putting you under pressure to buy anything then and there.

If the counter assistant is helpful take her name on the card with the product numbers etc.. so that when your DH goes back it goes on her commission.

The Urban Decay Naked box is lovely - lots of eyeshadows in shades of brown and beige etc.
