Barbour Jacket - do you have one?

I like this jacket. I tried it in and it fits lovely.

But I really fancied a waxy one but am doubtful if these are as warm as the quilted ones? Especially as they are more £.

If you have a Barbour, which one do you have?

Also, do you think Barbour are going to be forever fashionable?

I've got a 22yr old Bedale, that I rarely wear now. It's boxy looking and a bit whiffy, but to be fair it kept me warm and dry when I used to have a 3 mile walk to work at 4.30am. DH who was my 18yr old boyfriend at the time, saved up and bought it for me.

I have 2. An international and a beaufort which I really like. I got the beaufort as i really needed something with a hood because of my job and the nursery run. Wouldn't be without either of them.

Looking at all your replies... I really need one...

I don't do school runs any more, both mine are in secondary so don't really need a hood. Plus I bought a fabulous Fenn Wright and Manson coat with a hood (which is actually very similar to the £169 Barbour but goes to the knee). So I just need a jacket for bombing around town in really.

Not sure where you are but House of Bruar in Perthshire have a good selection of Barbour, also do their own (cheaper) version.

Find the wax jackets much warmer than the quilted.
