who's tried Nanogen? i saw this thread a few months ago and while my hair is thick and plentiful at the back, since having the kids my parting seems to have got wider at the front. ggggrrrrr.

it's not awful, but it is something i feel self-conscious about under sodding halogen lights (bane of my life). anyway, saw it mentioned on here and thought wtf and got it and It Is Amazing. seriously. a mad little powder dispenser that you tap on your parting and then a kind of hairspray thing... the effect is brilliant.

less than thirty quid for both (no idea how long that will last but my feeling is a couple of months or so) absolutely worth trying, fellow baldies!

That other thread was mine. My nanogen hair fibres arrived this week so I've tried them a couple of times. It definitely works to take the shine off my parting.

that's the same as i'm finding, which is all i wanted anyway. how long do you think the tub will last? i'm deffo not using as much as the chaps use in the demos.

Not sure as I've only used it a few times. I bought the smallest pack which is supposed to last a month but could see it lasting longer.

AitchTwoOh · 22/11/2011 09:24

me too, is it really only supposed to last a month? i think it'll be yonks. did you get the shampoo as well? i did... not actually sure what i think of it yet... seems to be making my hair feel a bit sticky.

No, didn't get the shampoo. Am using the Kerastase shampoo for thinning hair - seems quite good.

i'm against 'thickening' shampoos, broadly speaking. they seem to make the fine bits of my hair drier and the rest mega thick, which is not really the effect i am looking for... Grin
