Kind of urgent help needed re. hair products

Urgent in that DH is about to go to the shop and choose me something and I need to know what to ask him for!

So...tomorrow evening I'm going out to a very posh black tie do. My hair is currently cut in a bob with a fringe. I'm thinking of sweeping the fringe across (normally it hangs straight down) and curling the rest of my hair with tongs.

But what products are best to put on it to keep it sleek and to keep its hold?

I am clueless!

You need to put mousse on damp hair so the curls hold

Wax or fudge will hold your fringe across.

I honestly think if this is the 1st time you've done this to your hair you should book into a salon and get them to do it for you. Much less stress!

Sweetheart - that's not an option, unfortunately.

DH has the stuff - will be trying it out tonight!
