WOW! I can't believe how good this product is - hair looks amazing! Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

So, I was given a sample of shampoo, conditioner and elasticizer from John Lewis EONS ago, and tried it today, put the elasticizer in for about 20 mins before washing with the shampoo and conditioner.

Can't get over how changed my hair is. From frizzy and difficult to manage, it's all swishy and shiny and full of volume. Used my BBH as usual and it just seemed to 'take' it really well... And it still looks good at lunchtime. Keep swishing my head around. Seriously impressed. Has anyone tried it - does this happen every time or I have I just had a 'one off' fix?

It is spendy though, so want more thoughts. I am seriously seriously impressed by it I have never used anything that had such a direct result on my horrid hair!

I seriously love it. Have been using it for over a year once a week, it is a fabulous product.

is it the elasticizer that makes the difference, or do you need the shampoo and conditioner too?

worldgonecrazy · 17/11/2011 14:41

I saw this on QVC and was tempted. Good to hear RL experiences of it.

tbh i use all the products. I use the body building shampoo and conditioner and moisture balance shampoo and conditioner. I use the preen cream, scalp mask, and maximiser. The elasticiser is awesome on its own and really does its job but all the other products combined all help each other i think.

neuroticmumof3 · 17/11/2011 19:52

I think elasticiser is amazing and have used it for years. That said I'm thinking about trying a Brazilian treatment. If you buy from Ebay and do it yourself it works out cheaper than elasticiser.

I used the Philip Kingsley thickener in the past and it was brill.

Philip Kingsley shampoo has changed my life scalp after years of itchy scalp horror...glad you like it too, spread the word.....someone else might read about it here (like I did) and have a happy head!!

unfortunately I've just had to stop using phillip kingsley (after 3.5 years of being a devoted phillip kingley fan) but I'll find the strength and stamina to get back to the store and get the stuff again.
