Not My cup of tea tbh, more of a teenage thing I think. I wouldn't really think anything of a teenager if they were wearing them, but a women wearing them might look abit weird. Having said that there is a lady I see in the school playground who wears boots abit like that.

I need comfort. I have an inflamed tendon in the sole of my foot so need comfort ankle boots.

the second boots are much nicer - ie colour but without the chintz

They remind me of my mother in the 80s. Bit teenagerish for me but that's just because they are not my style.

I like Docs but only to be worn with skirt(straight cut in either denim or cord) and a polo shirt in a punky style fashion. And they must be in oxblood colour.
I like the flowery ones but the are fabric and will get soaking in the rain!

Any recomendations?

They need to be comfortable ankle boots with a flat or small heel.

I really like them molls

I have these here they are super comfy and I do LOTS of walking in them and I can't last two minutes in heels.They are near enough flat when you take into account the front bit.
