Ankle boots/shoe boots

Ok,

I would really like some shoe boots to be able to wear with skirts/dresses and opaques, but I have no idea where to start!

I don't really like the brogue (sp?) style ones and I think I am looking for a pair with a bit of a heel - not too big though as I need to be able to walk and I have a dodgy ankle, hence wanting boots instead of high heels.

I tried these on, which I quite liked - what does every think? I did feel there was a bit too much going on with all the laces, maybe something a bit plainer?

I am looking for a black boot that won't gape at the ankle, preferably under £70. Any ideas much appreciated :)

Ooh, thank you ruby, didn't think to look at M&S. What do you think of these? I seem to be drawn to ones with laces! I like the heel height too, and it is 25% off, bargin!

Thanks for looking :) I think you're right in that they just need to be tried on to make sure, I suffer from ankle gape too. I have asked my local Monsoon to put the ones I found aside, so will pop into town on saturday and have a look what M&S have in store too. Cheers :)
