Oh and to add, I have small wrists but I am thinking slightly on the large size rather then a thin narrow watch. And I do like glam, have I mentioned that yet? Wink

Does that mean you don't want a leather strap?

Because I know a few glam watches but with leather straps...

Deuce · 16/11/2011 19:01

Not realy too fussed tbh. Quite like a mixed colour metal strap, but show me your watches Grin

I have the last watch here, though it's not what i would call glam. Rotary are a good make for your budget here

ellangirl · 16/11/2011 19:15

What about this one- better prices on other sites here

Deuce · 16/11/2011 19:52

Nice, but not quite what I am after.

I like the look of Michael Kors watches. And they are not too expensive.

Deuce · 16/11/2011 20:01

Thumbs up!

Def Michael Kors, they look great IMHO.

MarshaBrady · 16/11/2011 20:15

I agree, they are lovely. Oh no I feel the need to get one too now!

LaurieFairyCake · 16/11/2011 20:20

Red direct magazine have Michael kors watches and the sale will probably start early January.

Don't buy it now, it's too close to sale time.

marilynwhirlwind · 16/11/2011 20:48

Citizen I have one and love it, but I agree the Michael Kors ones are nice too

goingmadinthecountry · 16/11/2011 21:58

Can I put a word in for slightly more investment watches? They really are worth it. I've worm my Longines silver/gold strapped watch for nearly every day for 15 years. It still looks current and brand new and I love it. Per wear, it has to be a bargain. Just a thought.

Emo76 · 17/11/2011 09:57

marc jacobs

carciofi · 17/11/2011 10:17

Tissot (a little over budget)

valiumredhead · 17/11/2011 16:21

My friend has that TISSOT watch and that pic doesn't do it justice it is really nice.

ednurse · 17/11/2011 16:27

Was also going to say Michael Kors...

WhinGin · 17/11/2011 17:02

May I suggest Skagen watches? We bought my sister in law a watch as a wedding present earlier in the year and we considered Skagen but went with a Tissot as that was more 'her' and less 'us'. I particularly like this or this more glam one I love the mesh straps.

Deuce · 17/11/2011 18:33

Oh they are niiiiice Whin, who stocks them?

OP posts:
WhinGin · 17/11/2011 20:28

At the start of our search nowhere in our town had them they were just a lovely picture on the screen! But by the time we came to buy, we looked at hundreds over about 2 months, they had a few in stock in Goldsmiths. This was back in April. I guess if you live in a bigger town with better more shops than I do you'll probably find somewhere that stocks them.

Also as I was flicking through the TV planner guide thingy the other day I am sure I saw them listed on one of the shopping channels, probably QVC, but thats only a tiny weeny step up from seeing them online. If there's one thing I know after wasting half my life looking at flaming watches its that you need to see them in RL. Though I guess QVC have a pretty good returns policy? Never used them myself....
