School tights that don't fall down

Can anyone help me? My DD (6) complains that every pair of tights I buy her fall down so she refuses to wear them even though she hates trousers. I've tried Tesco, m&s, asda but same thing with all. She's a tall girl so I've been buying bigger (9-10) in the hope it solves the problem but nothing works. Can anyone recommend some good ones?

Buy the bigger ones and sew a little inch of elastic in the waist....kind of pinch the waistband and then sew the elastic so that they go tighter...I am not eplaining it well am I?

If you can imagine creating a "pleat" at the back of the waistband...and then taking a little piece (an inch) of elastic....and sewing either side of the tights...then you wil make the waist band tighter.

Use elastic that is as wide as it is long....
