Advice needed re. new hairstyle

I am bored of my surrent hair style and want to change it to something considerably shorter but am worried that what lloks good in pictures on other people may look awful on me. I have had short bobs before and loved them so I am not sure why I am so concerned. I am putting a picture of myself on my profile for a while so you can see my face shape etc and make suggestion based on that.

I think the second look would work the best, but, from looking at your pic, would suggest something a bit longer, that was quite angled might look really good on you too.

Yes, but a bit longer - just below chin-length perhaps. Is your hair straight or wavy? I'd love a bob but mine is wavy/curly and it never looks quite right.

my hair is thick and straight, btw I would love curly hair but I guess you always want what you don't have :)

I think the Keira one would suit you well, but perhaps with a more modern twist. Not sure how to describe it - but they all look a bit dated, and there are some great chin length cuts I've seen recently.

Thanks everyone. I am now wondering if a pixie cut (not too short) would be an option (sorry am very indecisive)
