Looking for some cord trousers a bit like

these but not so expensive!

I'm struggling to find cords that aren't super skinny fit and/or sitting very low on the hips (have a hip problem & find low slung trews uncomfortable). Seems like cords aren't fashionable atm - but they're sooo warm & comfy . . .

Any great ideas?!?

Bump I've got bald patches on mine.
Boot cut on the waist, dark navy would be great.
VeryAngry that my very comfy M&S ones have got tatty so quick.

Hmm, hadn't looked in M&S come to think of it - generally I'm not their 'shape' though.

My current ones are from H&M, and are utterly perfect - apart from the bald patches, that is (though since I got them for post-baby shape & dd is now 9 they can be forgiven for that Grin )

I saw some in Sainsbury's TU for £18 a few weeks ago, they had them in dark grey and maybe other colours too.

Mistral

Oh, the Mistral ones look good :)

I have also just found my size of the Boden ones used but looking good on ebay so have bid on them too!

I have a fab pair from Lands end , high enough to tuck your tummy into and they will shorten them to whatever length you desire (I am tall - so this is a fab option!). They come in bootcut or straight and the navy is a proper navy. Not very cool but then cords aren't are they?! They are as comfy and warm and as nice as a pair I have from J Crew!
