Aveda Hair Colour

Clearly I can not make my own mind up.... i have had both hair dyes over the years, the loreal salon type ones and hair colour in aveda salons.... I have most recently been having it coloured with aveda colour and whilst happy with the result I have not found a good aveda salon ( there really are not many) or they feel so pretentious it ruins my hairdressing experience. I am now in desperate need of hair dye and wondering wether to try a new salon and go back to the loreal type colours..

Any reason I should stick with aveda ( and get a good salon recc South west london)?

I used to got to the flagship Aveda salon in Covent Garden - the cut was fabulous and the colour looked good, but I found it just didn't last nearly as long as L'Oreal ones I'd prviously had so switched back to a salon which uses L'Oreal for the colour. Not very convenient but worth it as it really lasts.
(Now have cut and colour done that salon as my brilliant cutter not around at Aveda salon any more).

Thanks, interesting you say that actually as that is one of the things i have noticed bout aveda colour that and the shine isnt nearly the same as loreal stuff... hmm maybe Ill try this new salon then and see what i think..
