I like to get her good quality things she wouldn't get herself. The Tweezerman tweezers were a big success. What else can people recommend that's worth spending a bit extra on? Ta muchly Smile

How much do you want to spend?

PeelThemWithTheirMetalKnives · 13/11/2011 19:27

Hmm, £25?

My younger sisters are mad for Benefit cosmetics, the stuff is great quality and very fun and quirky. They have some beautiful gift sets just now that are good savings on the normal RRP eg. their Badgal mascara and eyeliner is usually £30 for both, they are doing a set with both in (full sizes) for £20

GetOrfMolLand · 13/11/2011 19:36

some good ideas here

Agree that young girls love Benefit, and there are loads of gift sets in that price range. I hughly recommend Urban Decay make up sets if she likes wearing eyeshadow, the quality is excellent and they last for a long time.

Also a good idea would be a decent Mascara - like Dior Show and Lancome Hypnose - this time of year they do mascara + other stuff in sets for about £20 - 30.

Shu uemera eye lash curlers? They're about £25z

PeelThemWithTheirMetalKnives · 13/11/2011 19:42

Thanks all, off to check those out. Keep them coming if anybody has some other ideas Smile

I always recommend these on MN. I bought one a couple of years ago and I love it. Keeps everything organised, I would never go back to scratting in a make up bag now

Graciescotland · 13/11/2011 19:56

Make up lesson? Mac do one for £25 and that's redeemable against any products you buy on the day.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 13/11/2011 19:57

That make up box looks fab!

mamalovesmojitos · 13/11/2011 20:01

Yy to eyelash curlers. They are a cult product!

mamalovesmojitos · 13/11/2011 20:02

Oh yes, that silver makeup box or mac voucher are also fab ideas.

PeelThemWithTheirMetalKnives · 13/11/2011 20:03

So many good ideas! Fortunately DD has a Christmas birthday as well if I can't decide on one thing because I think she would love Benefit as well as the make up box.

I'd take a bit of a gamble and get a Feel Unique Beauty Box.
£10/month, you get a package containing high-end beauty products through your door. Can be a mix of hair stuff, make-up, perfume, beauty regime things. They're worth far more than the £10 and it's exciting to get, plus the brands are really nice.
I've had 2 so far and they are fab.

Geordieminx · 13/11/2011 20:34

I honestly can't recommend the box enough. It's huge and has revolutionised my make up. Everything has its own wee compartment, nothing is lost in the bottom, I can fit perfume and creams in.

Totally worth the money.

warmandwooly · 13/11/2011 20:39

What about some Kiehl's products? You can get them at Space NK etc? Maybe some lip balm and body lotion?

alemci · 13/11/2011 20:47

or Liz Earle stuff or Clarins.
