have also tried the boots one which dd stole and took to uni but tbh it was a bit crap as well
what light do you do your face in
winter is a bugger cos the mornings are so dark
my light in the bathroom is ok but overhead and not so good for doing makeup
in my dreams i have a full dressing room lighted wall mirror and dressing table

I've been using a Revlon version of that Boots one for about 10 years and find it very good.

How disappointing Sad. I often resort to doing my face in the car Grin. Don't know if that fits in with your dreams though!

Have you got it turned up to it's brightest setting? Don't know if it has more than one but the one I have has 4 settings so I have turned right up.

ggirl · 13/11/2011 22:37

only has one switch
which one do you have?

It is good. I've had mine for about 10 years and the bulb has only just gone. On the brightest setting I can even just about do my make up in it without turning on the bedroom light on days that I am up much earlier than my OH.
