too fat for spray tan??

I'd really like a spray tan, as im deathly pale.

but as a bigger lady, im really scared about having to be in my underwear for it, someone else seeing me [scared]

Has anybody larger had a spray tan and felt okay???

I have only once had a spray tan and I'm not sure what the protocol is, but when I did it, you got undressed in private, stepped into a box / booth thingy, pressed a button and the machine sprayed you. No human intervention required.

It could be totally different to this normally for all I know.

But even if it is administered by a person, I wouldn't let it worry me tbh. They will have seen nekkid people of all shapes and sizes and won't bat an eyelid.

Go for it.

I think you should embrace the pale as orange is never a good look.

I went for my first one a few weeks ago and got dressed in private then a woman came in and sprayed me as if I were a car.

I'm sure they see all shapes and sizes, don't worry.

I was v pleased with the colour, nothing remotely orangey about it but it washed off in the pool within a couple of days.

I had one last year, and I'm on the podgy side. The lady said I could strip down how I liked basically, either completely nude or leave underwear on. I decided to go topless and just leave my knickers on. It's a little humiliating to be honest, like mumblechum1 says, she came in and sprayed me like I was a car. Got me to stand in all sorts of positions to get in beyween the rolls!

I suppose you have to remind yourself they see people naked all day every day. One belly probably looks just like the next

Make sure you wear undies that you wouldn't mind throwing away incase they get stained by the tan!

I hate having spray tans, as the thought of someone seeing me in just pants is cringemaking.

But when you are in there, it is just like being sprayed like a car.

I have a freind who has a tan from a beutician who is middle aged and large, rather than an 18 yo who looks like a slice of chocolate cake has never passed her lips.

My favourite spray tan person was Eastern European...very busness like.."You turn NOW please!" She had no time to peer at my thread veins.

i think something happens to my head when i am tanning. i have had a few spray tans and totally forget that i am naked, i just chat as if i'm having my hair done. and when i was getting ready for a night out with my cousin i was tanning myself in the bathroom and talking to her while she did her make up. it was only after i had finished tanning, we both realised i was naked. i hope i haven't damaged her

I had one done in summer and I'm of the bigger variety. It was a touch embarrassing but am sure they don't blink an eye. Would have it done again definitely. Go for it!

I had one years ago and there was no other person involved, the spray came out of jets in the cubicle.

They are only good if you want to look tanned for a particular event like a wedding as the tan only looks good for a couple of days before it goes patchy.

Nobody has a tan at this time of year anyway. I think the pale look is more fashionable these days.

I would prefer a cubicle one if possible , my body is horrifc now post babba.

I've had one done - like mumble, changed in private and choice as to whether to be topless. My friend who is a size 26 had one at the same time.

It is fine, they see it all the time, momentarily embarassing but they are so business like.
