yes. It looks like you are either

a) an Ann Summers model
b) going to see the Rocky Horror Show

........irrespective of size

Crevix · 12/11/2011 18:25

what if you were 15? still slutty?

OP posts:
Jessicaalbastwin · 12/11/2011 18:36

Dont' like it, if I was a size 6 and 15yrs, I still wouldn't wear it. Sorry.

tethersend · 12/11/2011 18:39

I like it in white with black opaques.

Does she really want it?

Crevix · 12/11/2011 18:43

she's already got it.

i cant decide if she looks utterly beautiful with legs that go on forever, or a bit too grown up and a bit like an underwear model.

she likes it anyway.

I have to say if i was a size 6 with gorgeous long legs and i was a confident 15 years old i would wear it, i love it, but then i love slutty. In fact if i was a sixe 6 now i would wear it!

pictish · 12/11/2011 18:48

Yes it's quite slutty...but so what?
There is only a limited period in one's life that one can pull off such a garment, so one may as well enjoy it. Imo.
Wish I could wear it!

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 12/11/2011 18:52

It is slutty looking, but then I'm a boring old fart of 43. I can remember wearing teeny little things to go out in, and I looked bloody marvellous even if I do say so myself.

Just do the expected mum thing - pull a cats bum mouth, tell her that you would prefer her not to go out looking like that, and then have a quiet smile to yourself because one day a)she'll realise that her bum has dropped and it would no longer look naice if she went out wearing something like that and b)she'll have a DD one day who will want to go out dressing like a model advertising lace underwear

tethersend · 12/11/2011 18:59

I really wouldn't tell a 15 yr old that a dress is 'slutty' TBH- she has chosen it for fashion. 'Slutty' is a very loaded word. I would just advise her that it looks great with really thick opaques. And boots. And perhaps a jumper. A big jumper.

scarlettsmummy2 · 12/11/2011 19:05

where is she going to wear it to??

I had loads of dresses like that in my late teens I wore to nightclubs (underage included), but to be honest I wore them because I wanted boys to fancy me.

Pinkflipflop · 12/11/2011 19:19

With the figure you describe she could do much much better - it's not slutty just a bit non descript.

youtalkintome · 12/11/2011 20:36

I was going to say yes unless you are a teenager, it's alot more respectable than some of the teens around here wear.

Thehusbandsatcricketagain · 12/11/2011 20:52

eeeekkkk it's a bit slutty (my age talking),but if you've got it flaunt it,I would have worn it a few years ago

Catsmamma · 12/11/2011 21:00

I did think EEEEk, but went back for a second look and there's no excessive cleavage on display, and if her legs go on forever and she won't be hauling the hem down every five seconds small pet hate of mine then why not.

I do like the big jumper advice though from up there! :D

Crevix · 12/11/2011 21:19

she doesn't have any cleavage to spek of.

i shall insist on a cardi.

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/11/2011 21:33

Well granted my DD is a mere 2 but I think she could find a much nicer dress.

She can still be bodycon but not quite so obvious - not at 15.

letmehelp · 12/11/2011 21:33

Get her Dad to tell he she looks fantastic (OK he'll have to be brave) I always took things back if Dad approved....
