New shoes slippy

Have just bought these from Kurt Geiger. They are fab, and a good fit, and actually very comfortable for shoes so high, especially as I don't normally do shoes this high.

However, I am finding them very slippy - I know its early days, and I am walking on carpet and tiles floor, but was wondering whether there was any way of roughing up the soles? What to the high-heel afficionados of Mumsnet generally do?

Any advice gratefully recieved, as I don't want to go arse over elbow in my posh frock Grin

i'd just go outside and twist your feet on the ground a bit to rough up the soles..I had a pair of shoes like that and had to do that after i slid down the stairs. ouchy

Rub a piece of sandpaper on the underside of each shoe. Works a treat!
