Are you me? Only on Monday I had a whopper and usually use toothpaste but it wasn't working. My friend told me to use sudocrem - 'mazin! Almost can't wait for the next spot...

I never knew you could use sudocrem on spots! I have a whopper on my chin so I will put some on before I go to bed.

Ibuprofen gel works a treat overnight.

DuchessEm · 10/11/2011 23:24

Sudocrem. It works every time!

also it its one of they swollen ones. Crush an asprin and make a paste then apply to the spot. Will shrink it in double quick time. I had one on my nose and I looked like it was an extra nostril and it shrunk overnight with this.

Sudocrem....the stuff of miracles.

SuePurblybilt · 11/11/2011 08:11

I had an 'orrible spot yesterday (first day on). Chin. Red lump. Felt like it wanted squeezing but wouldn't.

Sudocrem overnight and it's now just a slight red mark, easily covered, and not painful. Love it.

Brilliant thanks ladies. I used toothpaste last night as i went to bed before reading replies... it's still glowing so will use sudocrem tonight :) and if it doesn't go then... will try the aspirin suggestion!

Warning. I was so impressed by my spot shrinkage, I put another blob on when I got home this morning, to zap it entirely.

The workmen I showed round the garden were very nice and pretended not to notice

Grin !!

Sudocrem works for loads of things - Spots, sunburn, cuts etc. It's great and I have even convinced DH of it's miracle qualities. We always had a tub around when I was growing up.

You could try Aloe Vera gel, or some of the juice from the leaves if you have a plant.

It takes the redness and swelling away.
