where can I get some boots like these only more comfortable?

I got these from Asos, I really like the style as they have a slight heel but they are not the most comfy boots I have ever worn, although I am not in agony with them on or anything. Has anyone seen any out there that are similar but might be more comfortable?
I have them in tan

Or should I just try to break them in?

where are they uncomfortable? are they too narrow?? If so just wear them around the house for a few days with a few pairs of sock on underneath. Are you sending them back?

partyhats · 10/11/2011 21:16

They are a bit narrow at the front, thats a good idea to wear them round the house with socks as they are nice otherwise.

Thanks Saoirse!! Thanks But fussy cow that I am I still like the look of the asos ones more Blush might take them into the bathroom with me when I have my shower this eve, heard that can soften up tight shoes.

Get a bigger size?

partyhats · 10/11/2011 23:17

Already tried that SirHumphrey, they were way too big. I must just have wide feet (I blame child bearing for that)

Take them to your local shoemenders, they usually have a machine to stretch shoes. I took my new boots in recently and 2 days and £4 later they were much better Smile

saoirse86 · 11/11/2011 10:14

Ooh married I didn't know they could do that! I have very wide feet so that could be great for me! Thanks

I'd go to the cobblers then party, or if there isn't one near you I have another one that I've tried before. You get 2 plastic bags and put them in your shoes so they line them. Then pour water into the bags and tie it up so that there's space for the water to expand but as little air as possible in the bag. Then ideally you put something heavy in the ankle or heel. Put them in the freezer and wait a couple of days. If it's all done right the water freezes and expands to stretch the shoe, which is why you need a weight to stop it just expanding up out of the ankle.
I've made that sound far more complicated than it actually is! Confused

Blimey Saoirse, good thing I live near a cobblers..
Thanks Marriednotdead thats good to know but I have worn thema round the house a bit today and I think they are ok now.
