Waling to school this morning and a Mum ahead has the most fab short (ankle / just to calf length) leopardskin boots with shiny black heels) about 4-5 inches with some other black straps and detailing.

Would you find it odd if a bloke you didn't know commented on your shoes?

I thought about saying fab shoes / boots but didn't dare!

Wouldn't suit my DW but pretty amazing for the school run!

Shoe perv

SexyDomesticatedDab · 10/11/2011 16:54

Grin - but makes a change from the usual drab stuff most of them wear.

You mean biker boots aren't doing it for you?

Shock Wink
EssentialFattyAcid · 10/11/2011 17:38

Sounds awful to me tbh
If you like 'em maybe buy some for your wife/yourself?

If you tell her you like them odds on she will assume you fancy her...she may or may not appreciate that...

Sexy Domesticated FISH???? Confused

tethersend · 10/11/2011 17:40

SexyDomesticatedDab · 11/11/2011 08:23

she will still assume you fancy her!
Do you?

monkeysmama · 11/11/2011 09:27

A man stopped me while I was out shopping last week to ask where my (Ash wedge) trainers were from. I didn't think he fancied me, just liked my shoes.

linky to the boots ruby?

SexyDomesticatedDab · 11/11/2011 09:36

No don't fancy the person in question - but today different set of boots - calf length leather in black, pointy toes, with quite high heels too. Maybe I do have a boot fetish....Confused

Do women always assume a compliment from a man is trying to chat them up???

They sound hideous to me.

Nagoo · 11/11/2011 09:52

Yes, I do think that a compliment means a man is trying to chat me up. Particularly if the compliment refers to my boots.

Nothing wrong with a bit of a flirt though Wink

PrimarkMan · 11/11/2011 10:03

This is a tricky one for us men. I often appreciate what a woman wears without necessarily fancying her! But am relectant to comment as they may well take it as a cheesy chat-up line.

So, I tend to only compliment women I know already and who -hopefully- won't take it the wrong way.

Incidentally, if a woman says "I like your shirt" (or some such) to me then I don't assume she fancies me. Is this because it's more common/acceptable for a woman to be interested in clothes?

Trills · 11/11/2011 10:04

I think it is more socially acceptable for women to be interested in or notice clothes, yes.

Silly society.
