Hi, I wonder if anyone could give some advice on this. I've had one session and was surprised to be able to see such bright flashes of light and am now a bit worried about my eyes! I was given safety glasses, not goggles. Is this normal? Thanks.

Does anyone know about this? Thanks again.

I have never noticed bright flashes of light, but there must be some because I get given quite dark glasses. Like a cross between safety glasses and sunglasses.

Thanks for your reply. That's interesting. I think I'll ask more about it next time I go.

You will be fine. I have done IPL for years and over this time I have accidently flashed myself straight in the eye a few time with no ill effects. The same would not be true with a laser which is stronger. It is usuall to see flashes of light. We put our clients in stick on eye patches which are very effective especially when treating the face.
