Hi I got this last January in the sales ready for Christmas 2011, I don't know what shoes to get to go with it though.....

I am 5' 7 and a size 12 if that helps!

Nice dress! Which colour did you get it in? I'd be tempted to go for black opaques and a bright shoe in either case (although I like contrasting or even clashing bold colours and I know not everyone agrees Smile). Both such neutral colours that I think any bright or deep-coloured shoe would be good ? cobalt blue? Mustard? (with the silver not the oyster colour). Or black opaques and black patent heels? I'd go for a simple court style with a chunkier heel otherwise with the lace it might look a bit too princessy.

HTH.

Thanks! have got it in the Silver, was thinking neutral but wasn't sure, x

sorry misread your post, could you post some ideas, I am fairly clueless with shoe/dress combos (but love shoes!) thanks

The silver's really nice. Nude tights and a pale neutral shoe would be good, or nude tights and a cobalt blue or orange shoe? As I said above, personally I'd be tempted to go for a bright/dark shoe but it depends on your taste.

Ooh. I love that dress. What your price limit.
Right If your wear opaques - just black patent shoes would do like ->

but as it's quite a blank canvas colour I do think most colours would work. Blue would look fantastic - although it would be a really statement!
Ooh like these....

these - www.dune.co.uk/honk-d-glittery-platform-court-prodhonkd91gold/

these - www.newlook.com/shop/womens/shoes/patent-platform-heel_202769621 Little bit more purse friendly - and they come in SO many colours!!

Hope you find some you like :) xxx

I have this dress and wore it with black opaques and black patent heels. I think it would also look great with glittery courts in black, nude or silver. It's a lovely dress - got loads of compliments when I wore it
