Really how hard can it be to find a nice navy longline cardy that isn't cashmere or some strange cheap material.

i have this one from next which is nice, well i like it anyway Wink it's navy with a slub in it.

mandoo · 09/11/2011 13:31

I too have had this problem for many a year. I got one from new look but it never really was the right kind of navy really. Will be watching this thread with interest.

WhatsWrongWithYou · 09/11/2011 13:33

Wrap has this chunky one.

WhollyGhost · 09/11/2011 13:34

I just got one in Laura Ashley of all places, in the clearance section

BedBugsBeware · 09/11/2011 13:36

www.thewhitecompany.com/clothing/cardigans-and-knitwear/rib-hooded-cardigan/ is really good. I got it in one of their promotions and I have had a lot of wear out of it.

WhatsWrongWithYou · 09/11/2011 13:39

Esprit have at least one - not sure if this will take you to the right page, Esprit links don't usually for some reason.

Stylelostinlabour · 09/11/2011 13:40

I just want a plain proper navy cardigan no hood, no waterfall, no ribbing - at this rate I'll have to fine knit my own...

Have tried the next one but it's not a proper navy and had weird bit on it that made me to want to pick them off like fluff.

This is the one I did have until I wore it to death!

boden have this one now which is similar but round neck.

Stylelostinlabour · 09/11/2011 16:11

Now I've ordered that one and sent it back as it was really short on me like a cropped cardy - I'm only 5'8 so not so weird giant

daenerysstormborn · 09/11/2011 18:34

ameliagrey · 09/11/2011 18:54

www.purecollection.com worth a look

PrimaBallerina · 09/11/2011 19:07

Zara £19.99

wheresthecake · 09/11/2011 20:39

Zara, definitely. I've had a grey one for 2 years and it's still fab

jackierussell · 09/11/2011 21:38

Try Woolovers, good quality and wash well in the machine.

higgle · 09/11/2011 22:38

I was just going to link to Woolovers too.

polyhymnia · 09/11/2011 22:52

whatswrongI have the Wrap one - it's lovely. But note OP 's wish not to have ribbing. It's fine for me as I wanted something casual but stylish

franke · 10/11/2011 12:27

Jackierussell - how is woolovers sizing? I'm a 10/12 which they don't do.

Stylelostinlabour · 10/11/2011 14:14

Was going to ask the same question I'm a 14 but not a 16/18 and probably a 12 would be too small - not sure if to go M or L?

Never seen this site but that is my navy cardy found.

Thank You!

jackierussell · 11/11/2011 00:24

Sizing is quite generous, i am an 18/20 and wear mix of l and xl depending on style, they do usually give quite good measurements on the website see sizing on right hand side for details.

TantePiste · 11/11/2011 01:17

though they are calling it storm my monitor makes it look navy...

Stylelostinlabour · 11/11/2011 08:27

Have that on back order already but thanks for the link
