Interview suit for an hourglass figure - wide leg trousers not conservative enough?

I am slim, but have wide hips and large breasts. Suits either don't fit me and look awful, or seem to accentuate the hourglass wildly.
This is far and away the best I've tried so far:

the wide legs on the trousers balance out my top half - but I don't think such wide legs are conservative enough to wear to job interviews?

Hmm, I tend to agree with you; not formal enough.

What job is the interview for?

WhollyGhost · 09/11/2011 16:59

thanks tethers

the job is analyst in ultra conservative company, if I don't get it, there will hopefully be more interviews, so I do need a boring suit. One that lets me look well presented and groomed.

I am that shape (or was - am now 7 months pregnant and resemble a weeble) and Hobbs are very good, particularly as they have good nipped in waists for their suit jackets.

IMO you'd be better off with the skirt from the same range than the wide legged trews.

What about this one? The lapel-less jacket would minimise the boobs, and it has good sharp lines.

Or this with the skirt option. It's bdly styled in the photos, but is a beautiful cut.

I'd do a dress and matching jacket.

Thank you all, I was thinking that trouser suit was the way to go, but looking at those skirts and dresses, I think you are right. Will go back to Hobbs tomorrow and try all those on. I especially love the Marlborough Jacket, and don't remember trying it on.
