What have I done !!!

I fear I have just given my husband a grenade of a Christmas gift request and I need help to prevent it exploding. I've asked for SLIPPERS for Christmas !!!

I really do need some as we've recently moved and my feet are constantly cold on the wooden/tiled floors but I'm not ready for the tartan zippered granny boot that he may buy after our conversation .

I need something with a hard sole - I can wear holes in those pretty and readily available soft soled ones in a couple of months . I also can't keep mule type slippers on my feet and always end up falling down stairs with them on.

So I need helpful suggestions that I can show him that would meet my needs but save a little of my dwindling style. Please help me

Fat Face do some bootie styles which are quite cool. (I'm a boot gal. I need to be able to take the bin out in them.)

Celtic Sheepskin do some lovely slippers with outdoor soles. Not cheap but everything I have had from there has been really good quality.

Oooh thank you. Shall take a look. I need to be able to retrieve youngest child from hisotherhome the neighbours when it's meal time and would love to not have to put shoes on to walk up our shared garden path.

Is there something nice in Toast? For a bit of a treat?

(Disclaimer, I have VERY little patience with the whole aspirational lifestyle thing that is Toast, but I did the same thing last year with a dressing gown and am glad I went down the toast route........)

Arent they? Ive had moshulu slippers before and they are amazing quality, in fact my pair from 2 christmases ago are still going strong. Thats a great price, they are usually well over £35

Glerups Expensive - but they last forever so you won't need anymore for years. Try them and you'll never want to wear anything else. Really cosy and really cool.

They do look like yeti feet but I love them
