I'm in the process of retraining, and I've come to the conclusion that my clothes are too office-y.

I need things that are:

comfortable
look like I'm competent and lively, but not wacky (or at the other end of the spectrum, mumsy / frumpy)
not too short or flashing of norks
ideally, can be worn with Aigle Sugey coat without looking stupid (teacher I work with is big into outdoor learning so we spend a lot of time freezing outside, I need my warm coat]]

Mid-thirties, 12-14, tall, worst area is stomach.

All suggestions gratefully received.
