Brown heels......black tights?

I have a lovely pair of dark brown heeled mary-janes. Last year I wore them with brown opaques but tbh felt slightly granny-ish/nun-like for some reason. To be fair, the opaques were quite woolly. I was wondering about wearing them with black opaques instead. Do you reckon they would look okay? Or do I need to keep searching for the perfect chocolate opaques?

No to black opaques. Just think it wouldn't look right. How about burgundy-ish opaques? Maybe with dark red/brown/deep purple outfit? Difficult to describe what I mean, but kind-of dark wine-ish shades?
