This is very exciting! DH has been issued with specific description of my Christmas gift of choice (ie nothing for the house or from the 'hunting/ shooting/ fishing shop that he so loves...). Gift of choice is to be selected from Alex Monroe website and I am ridiculously delighted that he is posting on here!! Whole collection is just so lovely

I also love alex monroe stuff - and am lucky enough to have one of the silver pears. I really love it, its delicate but weighty and have had many compliments when wearing it .... BUT since buying it in May it has broken twice. The ring that connects the pear to the chain has come apart (maybe not helped by dd2 liking to fiddle with stuff!). I got it fixed the first time by a very reputable jeweller but since it cost quite a lot to be fixed, I'm not sure I'll get it fixed again! Luckily I caught the pear each time, so I'll have to admire it in my jewellery box instead!

So just be aware... particularly if you have little ones who may want to pull on necklaces!

Very glad I checked back in! You must send that back to us. Customer service is completely the most important thing for us. Sounds like we should replace the whole thing (other jewellers sometimes aren't the best at repairing our pieces) Give us a ring, we'll sort it out asap! Sorry for your inconvenience.

I've got the hummingbird and I love it but it stabs me everytime one of my little one comes for a cuddle (stabs them too ). Also it stabs me when I put a scarf on which I intend to do quite a bit this winter. Cue DH to buy me another one ahem! I desperately want this one
