Maybe its me - but school trousers just look really nasty - ds is just about to start sch nursery and I am looking for a pair of grey trousers that are plain but not so nylony - do they exist?

Yes, they are pretty nasty but I have two ds's at school & neither of them care! I remember thinking the same thing when ds1 started school 3 years ago - I bought some bamboo ones from mothercare which were v.soft but they just didn't last the distance. All of the organic cotton stuff I've bought hasn't lasted either although it's lovely. M&S do some wool-mix ones I think which might be worth a look?

Thanks Mumbling

Accessorize - you are right my ds doesn't care either! My dd is going to a different school and it doesn't have a uniform so this is my first time with it all! Have had to buy it quickly as ds has got a place with little notice so have just got some ok ones from next - it's me that doesn't like them but sure i will get over it!

They are all horrible. M&S or John Lewis seem to be your best bet. But nylon-y seems to be the standard. Grim isn't it.
