...without looking OTT. Bits of it appeal to the old Goth in me - semi sheer tops, strappy details here and there, the fitted aspect, corsets, but I am a) 41 and b) 5'2" and size 10 and c) NOT an exhibitionist.
Soooo, while I like a fitted look and can carry off black, I dont want to go the studs and rubber route as I will look daft Grin

Any suggestions? Budget is more High Street, though I love my American Vintage and Day Birger sheer tops as they are fab for layering.

I've got some quite flat Ash boots with lots of straps round them that give a polite nod to that look. I wore them with leather skinnies at the weekend and dp said I looked more dominatrix than firework night mum Grin.

Grin I have their wedge trainers and biker boots. I need a heel though as I am a shortarse!

I'm quite tall but have wedge trainers too. Am multiple pair of Jalouse. The Jeff style I think it is that I have has lots of straps. Have you seen the Penny? I really like them.

Leather trousers are great too. I have Topshop pleathers from last year and adore them.
