makeup thoughts for an outfit

I'm going to a wedding on Saturday and will be wearing a black dress with leopard print heels and hopefully a beige / light brown fur coat (waiting on delivery!). I'll probably wear a short sleeved gold cardigan under the coat for the meal / evening too.

What colour make up would you wear with this? I don't normally wear black eyeliner and mascara often favouring navy blue which suits my complection more but feels wrong with the tones of my outfit.

I don't want to wear brown eyeliner as this usually ends up making me look like a zombie or a rabit with miximotosis!

I tend to focus on my eyes rahter than lips too, so will go with a neutral lip gloss.

What colour liner, shadows and mascara's would you go for and a complementary blusher shade too?

Not sure what your colouring is but if you are wearing an outfit that is all neutrals black/brown/animal print Id say you need colour in your makeup. I would go for bright coral/red lips but if you def dont want to do that Id wear a coral blush to brighten the look and use a creamy gold metallic eyeshadow and black liquid liner on my top lids.

I'm fair skinned with blonde hair. I don't really wear bold lippy well and think it might look a bit too tacky with the leopard print and fur too. I'm ok with coloured eyeliner / shadow though.

I think if its the only colour on your face it looks great, Keep your eyes simple (just liner and mascara maybe) and bronzer on your cheeks and a lovely coral lip. I wore leopard shoes and a fur cape to a wedding 2 weeks ago and my coral lippie drew loads of compliments
