What accessories with a purple dress?

I have a long sleeved purple lace dress that I'm going to wear for a Christmas party but I'm not sure what accessories to put with it. It's short with a high neck.

I'd like something a bit different but not sure if it would go with anything another actual colour (was considering some emerald green shoes but couldn't decide)

Any ideas?

Emerald green would be lovely - clashing is good. Otherswise, id suggest gold but you have to be mindful to keep gold funky and not verge into trashy.

Would also suggest shoeboots rather than strappy heels.

Green would be lovely. My first thought was navy opaques and navy heels.

Silver. Definitely. I wore a purple dress to my sister's wedding with purple hat and shoes but silver clutch purse and would just have easily worn silver shoes and wrap.

Ooh so maybe I'll get the green shoes after all, but what colour tights would you say then? A little green bag as well do you think?

Depends on the shade of purple but plum, wine and burgundy colours could look good too.

I'm on my phone so not sure if this the same for everyone but it's the same purple as everyone's user names on the threads

Of all the different MN shades of pink/purple it's the darkest one. A real purple purple not with any red tones. So quite a cold purple iyswim.
