I went in today a saggy 36C and came out a pert, shapely 32E

What the actual fuck?

I look 5 years younger and half a stone lighter.

My wallet is lighter, too Grin

Sod M&S!

Grin.

I went there for my wedding day basque and pants and they sized me by sight. I would love to be able to afford to go back as my bras don't fit well at the moment. 2 do but they other 5 don't. Boobs are growing for some unknown reason.

If you don't mind telling me, how much is a bra there now?

meglet · 05/11/2011 17:17

I went there pre-dc's and bought a wonderful bra.

Should save up and go back one day.

BellaBearisWideAwake · 05/11/2011 17:20

They now do feeding bras AND last week when I went in were doing a BCC charity thing hereby you give them your old bra and they take £10 off. So my new bra only cost £35 (to answer a question above). I adore them. Went from 38D fitted by NCT ba fitter to 34H and thinner and standing straighter. Which was nice.

BellaBearisWideAwake · 05/11/2011 17:20

*whereby

And not a tape measure in sight. But quite a few photos of the Queen.

TheOriginalFAB · 05/11/2011 17:22

I like having lots of bras but I am seriously considering having ones that are more expensive and fit for more than a couple of washes.

I spent £142 last year buying 3 bras and matching pants sets after getting size advice from mumsnetters.

lucy1001 · 05/11/2011 18:18

Dont know if this ia any help they do have a fantastic factory shop in northamptonshire with bras being around £10-20

woopsidaisy · 05/11/2011 18:23

I go there every year, and buy 2/3 bras. I get the Prima Donna ones. They are £75 each-I think.
Worth every penny,as they make your shape so much better!

herecomesthsun · 05/11/2011 18:42

ooh where is the factory shop? do you have an address?

CiderwithBuda · 05/11/2011 18:54

They are fab. I went in a 48B (!!!!) and came out a 40E!,,

Woopsadaisy I wear the Prima Donna ones too and have since bought online from a place in Derbyshire called Bare Necessities. I keep an eye out for their sales and get a couple each time.

polyhymnia · 05/11/2011 19:02

Hi, I too get the wonderful Prima Donna bras - worth every penny.

Nothing looks good with a lousy bra and, if your bust is really big like mine, getting the bra right is the top priority. I get myself checked at R and P about once a year and order the rest online.

madmomma · 05/11/2011 19:13

Does anyone know if they have a shop in Manchester?

franke · 05/11/2011 19:18

On my first visit I went in 34C and came out 30E Grin I once went there straight from the airport on a trip to London, complete with all my luggage, such is my devotion.

ButWhyIsTheGinGone · 05/11/2011 19:20

Am also a Northants girl with unruly boobs who would love to know where the factory shop is......

KatieMiddIeton · 05/11/2011 19:31

Where have you been??! Am also a 32E and may be dressed like a slobby student but I have good underwear!

Leia Lingerie are also great at fitting. They have stores in Blue Water, Cardiff and York (sadly the Richmond one closed Sad). Once you're sized you can buy cheaper bras from other places like Bravissimo or department stores.

lucy1001 · 05/11/2011 19:51

Its in desborough . drive through the town and is actually at the underwear factory. Has been a few years since I have been there though. They have fantasie, freya and rigby and peller. They also do bikinis and swimsuits at certain times of year they were £10 I think the last time I went . Hope that helps

inmysparetime · 05/11/2011 20:05

Madmomma, if you're after a decent big boobies bra shop in Manchester, I found Boux Avenue in the Trafford Centre last week. I said 36F to them and they didn't bat an eyelid, said I could choose from pretty much the whole range, then made sure I got the right size bra (which turned out to be 36G)

inmysparetime · 05/11/2011 20:06

Oh, and the bra I got was £24, not too pricey.

madmomma · 05/11/2011 20:10

Ooh I'm right by the TC, thanks for that tip Smile I don't think my boobies are that big, they're just difficult to house. I'm a 34Eish, but they're empty at the top and they live in my armpits Sad
