After flailing round blindly for a birthday present for my brother, he has finally thrown me a bone and suggested I get him a jumper/cardigan, all queries met with the words "I don't know, you know the sort of thing I like" and in a nutshell, I'm hugely out of touch with current menswear trends.
He is 24, tall and broad and lives in London where he goes out a lot and dresses quite fashionably. I also know he isnt a "hipster" but have no idea what this means (!) I guess no tight jeans/wacky hairstyles.
He likes to be different and I know he isn't a fan of the Superdry/Hollister/Jack Wills craze currently going on back home.
I do not have a CLUE what is "in" at the moment but I know he has previously worn things from labels like Original Penguin, Paul Smith and Fred Perry, although I am probably several years out of date.
Can anyone help me find a decent-quality, fairly plain but still trendy sweater or cardigan? I'm don't want to waste money on something desperately uncool which he won't wear!
