Help me grow my nails....

I need serious help. My nails are very short and bitten to within an inch of their life. They sometimes bleed and sting plus I bite the skin. YUK!!! sounds horrible doesn't it.

Well now its time to stop, but what can I do.

What do you recommend I use, where do I begin, which products are best xx

Yadagi - Is Shellac like a semi permanent nail polish that last x amount of weeks?
Being a nail technician would you recommend acrylic false nails as a way of stopping the biting?

false nails (i did them myself) worked for me, i wore them for a fortnight on holiday last year, just took a tude of glue everywhere!!!! I came home with much longer nails than normal, and painted them black. they arnt long now, but at least they are presentable, and i can wear nail varnish!!!
