Interview Outfit

Need some advice asap. Have an interview on Friday for an admin position within a high street store. Have been in mum uniform for past 6 months and all previous jobs have been in NHS so not exactly high fashion. I am 6 weeks pregnant so don't want to spend loads on something that I won't get a lot of wear out of and have big boobs so don't look great in shirts. Any suggestions? Also had hair done last week and it is bright red, will this be acceptable. Store is Next if that helps.

Not had an interview for 3 years so am bricking it!

What about a dress? Will look smart with tights and heels. Could you buy a maternity dress that should a)help hide any "signs" (assuming you want to) and b) still be wearable should you get the job/when you want to be a smart mummy if you don't get it?

Something like this?

www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33053&storeId=12552&productId=3578586&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208668&parent_categoryId=208600&pageSize=20

Good luck with the interview.

I have something similar in black that I bought when pregnant with DS2, might try it on later. I have calf length black boots with a reasonable chunky heel, they are quite nice but should probably go for a smart pair of heels. I do like that dress might order it anyway! DP do have some lovely maternity clothes (and I do want to hide it, 3rd DC so have a bit of a swollen tummy already!) Thanks Smile

Sounds great. I think boots look nice, but heels maybe seems more "traditional"..But it is a high street fashion store, so they might appreciate a nice boot! I cannot remember what the staff in Next wear, but I guess it is from their store.

And congrats on the pregnancy. :)
