So this winter, on my maternity leave, I would like to look like one of those Classy Cashmere yummy mummies from the Toast/Great Plains/White company.. all creams and greys and knitted dresses and and snuggly cable knits.. but I am only five of your good english feet tall...and you cannot turn up a knitted dress or a cardigan so I fear I will end up in my old frumperama workwear/M and S short length trews. I have (a little bit of) money to burn and need direction. any good quality higher end of the high st stores that do petite weekend/school run stuff?

Could you get away with the kids departments of those shops?

I can for trousers and skirts but they don't tend to cut dresses/tops for the 30G breastfeeding embonpoint.. wish I could get away with it though as some of the kids stuff is gorge and reasonable prices..
