I Need fabulous shoes !!!!

I need a pair of lovely shoes - i need them to go with my Christmas party outfits from
Skinny jeans to party dresses.
Have a ball in 2 weeks - am wearing a pale simple (boring) midi length dress and really want to glam up te outfit with a lovely clutch and gorgeous shoes.
Problem is I don't like platforms as am tall enough - most shoes I ve liked have huge platforms under them - I just can't walk in them and they make me too tall.
I can wear 4" heel could do a small front platform but not the super dooper ones I see everywhere don't mind colour wise - am liking cobalt blue that s everywhere ATM. Maybe that or black or metallic ?

Let me introduce you these of which I now have 3 pairs. I am not an M and S gal at all tbh.....but these shoes are great. They look much better on than in the picture, will dress anything up - and are soooooo comfortable. Small platform means they are very manageable. They really are excellent value.

Oh they do look nice! I think I s like to try them, but for the ball I think I need something a little more sparlky as the dress is so ...meh..!

Hmm. Yes can understand the sparkle thing! My advice would be get a pair of these sub-£20 babies, and then look for sparkles as well . You won't regret it (I do not work in marketing for M and S....) Think the red or metallic could look great with skinny jeans.

£140 or £180 is a bit too much, for me, I am afraid.

I'm a fan of irregular choice to pep up a plain dress. Lots of them are just downright silly, but I have these courtesan and I love them with a plain black dress and tights!

OP, you don't necessarily need sparkly shoes just because your dress is nude and 'meh'. A really good bright colour, in suede for a good deep, saturated look, and a sparkly clutch, would look lovely. I think cobalt blue is a great colour with nude and you can also wear it with dark jeans as well as dresses in loads of colours ? black, orange, pink, grey. metallics ...

Like there was a lot of it everywhere, I spotted a lovely pair of blue with a gold heel shoes in reiss that I really loved, am
Going to try them on at the weekend.
Also fell for the python Zara ones but our local didn't have them or the black sequin ones I thought were lovely!
