So dh thinks I am too old to wear my
Converse and superga trainers.

We were out shopping - we don't live in the hippest area - and he pointed out that only the teenagers were wearing trainers and all the 'stylish' women were wearing skinnies and boots. Now I don't mind skinnies and boots but I at times think it has had it's day.

So my question is what are the alternatives to my trainers or do I tell him where to shove this which was my initial thought!

But seriously, any suggestions for alternatives as I do seem to live in trainers. They must be flat as running after ds and I wear heels in work and feet need a break.

I thought I recognised this thread.

Glad to report Dh has given up - although he did think the loafers I wore on Sunday were like granny shoes. And this man sneakily reads grazia. He should know.

But now ds (5) is giving his tuppence worth- as long as I wear a
Skirt he thinks I look pretty. Love him.

Anyway, can I change the title - it should now be 36 and wearing what I want!
