Pls recommend soft skinny jeans/jeggings

Pls! I don't have time/courage to go shopping! I need skinnies/jeggings to wear with boots/longline jumpers. I am sz14 with no waist to speak of, so they need to be a decent rise- ie not low-rise. I like darker indigo that look like proper jeans, not that woven fake denim stuff! Thanks a bunch!

Gap Premium super skinny jeans are what I wear. High enough to tuck my mummy tummy in! I got mine in Gap Outlet, if you have one near you well worth a visit. I paid £18 for a pair this week

Cheers, tons of these on eBay, will give them a go!

PS fit quite high on the waist and have the dark navy denim ones which are lovely x

I can also recommend the gap Jean leggings in dark indigo. They are not too low rise but fit well where they should. I know they are quite expensive for what they are and what you can get elsewhere but I think they are worth it. Also they aren't as bulky are normal jeans when worn under tunics or jumpers.

M&S Indigo collection ones are lovely - comfiest things ever!

GeorginaWorsley · 30/10/2011 18:05

I second the Indigo Collection skinny jeans.Wonderful and only £19.

benandhollyandgaston · 30/10/2011 19:22

I came on to say Gap 1969 legging jeans as well.

I got mine in store the other week and I think they were only £39 but website says more so maybe they were more..can't think.

As sweetie says they fit really nicely under tops and dresses as they aren't bulky - I can get away with a slim belt on them too which doesn't show (I have no hips to speak of so need a belt to keep them up)

I love Topshop Jamie jeans.

They are high waisted and very soft. Definitely the most comfortable skinnies I have ever bought.

josephinebonaparte · 30/10/2011 19:33

Sainsburys do some great jeggings

TenderlyLovinglyByAGoat · 30/10/2011 19:37

Esprit - don't remember their name but they are very soft, quite high waist, the pockets are sewn up and they are indigo

Iatemyskinnyperson · 30/10/2011 22:17

Ok, I have a plan, will (gulp) try on in M&S, Gap and DP's. Think I can stomach that much. Thank you all!

theseventhdwarf · 31/10/2011 09:02

I wanted j brand skinnies but didn't have the budget - girl in the shop selling them recommended oasis black skinnies- they are excellent. I absolutely love them. They look fab and are so comfy. Definitely give them a try.

countessbabycham · 31/10/2011 09:05

Oh maybe not SeeLyon - I got mine a little while ago...sorry!

onefatcat · 31/10/2011 09:10

I second sainsburys skinny jeans and jeggings- only £17

notyummy · 31/10/2011 09:14

These COH ones are the best I have ever encountered and soooo soft. Not cheap though - although ebay may yield some gems? Don't be put of by some sites claiming they are low-rise. They are not particularly low rise at all.

brianmayshair · 31/10/2011 09:44

Gap pointe 1969 eggings are really comfortable and a really nice fit too.
