Long-lasting lipstick

I am on the lookout for a long lasting lipstick in a pink-ish/heather-ish colour. I have checked the Maybelline 24hr ones but they're far too shimmery. Any suggestions anyone? TIA

it's all bobbins
use a lip liner, blot and then use again
stick some gloss on if you must but that is my best answer

friend uses that hideous lipcote stuff and it works better than most long lasting lipsticks in that you can use something decent with a good pigment and then keep iyswim?

Try lipstick queen sinner range. They are 90% pigment but do not dry out the lips.

Try bare essentuals one in the eye starter kit. I swear it lasted 14 hours and is amazing

Chanel's Coco Rouge range are very long lasting and very moisturising. I wear the Rouge Orange and only have to re-touch once every few hours. As Perry suggests, apply, blot and then re-apply is the perfect way to make your lipstick stay on.

MAC Pro Longwear lipsticks are great too. They stay on for hours and don't go all dry and cardboardy feeling like a lot of the others do.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I see I'll have to be ready to part with my money if I want a decent lipstick that will last. Mind you, I wasted quite a bit of money buying Ultraglow lip tints online only to find that despite their names, they all turned out to be slightly different shades of fuchsia, all equally bright and ghastly.
