Hello all! Firstly, I apologise for not knowing how to create links...

I have two evening do's this month and was hoping to buy an outfit I could wear to both. (At minimum price, if possible!) I really, really, really hate clothes shopping when there's pressure to get something quickly, and due to being my current size (22) I often come home feeling like shit.

So I've decided as it's payday tomorrow to do it on eBay and was wondering if you could offer me some advice. I'm 5 foot seven, size 22 but with bloody stupid 42GG boobs, which tend to make anything I wear look obscene. :-( I do have a bit of a waist tho, so was thinking about this top:

Along with this necklace, which I love and think is quite unusual:

But I have NO IDEA what kind of trousers to wear. I have a lovely pair of suede boots that add 2 inches onto my height... I would love to wear them. Can anyone suggest anything jeans/trousers/wise?

Any comments welcomed - and sorry I cannot do links! Thanks in advance!

I like the top, the necklace isn't my cup of tea but if you love then get it!
I would think that some straight leg black trousers would look good with the top, like these.

dexter - thanks so much for making them into links :-) And for the advice on the trousers - I can cope with simple, black ones!
Had an idea the necklace wouldn't be everyone;s cup of tea, but I just seem to be drawn to weird silver jewellery.
Thanks x

I was going to suggest straight leg black trousers too. And i also like the top but not so keen on the necklace. And enjoy your boobs. AA cups are no fun at all!

Thanks also, whostolemyname!
Damn though - just noticed the big, central ring of the necklace is not silver, but some white-ish acrylic. I've gone off it. Here's it replacement....

Can you spot a theme emerging?! ;-)

tunics

I like the necklaces. :) Two concerns though. One - how lowcut is that top? It might be okay, or it might be on of those things that sees you spending the entire evening trying to ensure your bra isn't showing (can you tell I've had evenings like that?!) Two - both necklaces look quite long, like they'd interfere with the neckline of the dress. I'm not sure the top can take something quite as statementy, what with the buckle thing it has on it, but even if it can, it needs not to be getting tangled up with the neckline.

Collison - I'm a bit wary of lighter coloured trousers - but greay charcoaly ones is a possiblity? I LOVE the tunics! :-)
DCMB - Good point about the top and the necklaces. I'm tempted to buy both anyway as quite reasonalby priced - then if they don't work I can eBay them on or keep them for separate use.
