I went in yesterday and it was full of 17 year olds who looked like extras from Fame. I did not get it at all. And today I have 25% off and I was wondering if there was anything worth buying?

Whats the children's clothes like?

When I saw the title, I thought 'young, very tall, very thin people from a fashion shoot' - then I read your post Grin

DP likes the underpants but that's all we've sampled from there.

Ds wears it and he is 17 he likes the coloured skinnies and hoodies. I like the leggings/footless tights but haven't been in there this year and passing the window it looks a bit tatty.

DH likes the long sleeved t-shirts and they wash really well. Leggings also good.

ggirl · 28/10/2011 21:34

i have some of these t-shirts ,very useful and flattering
dd has some jersey skirts and dresses/tunics , have lasted ages

The winter leggings are lovely and toasty - really thick.

Popbiscuit · 29/10/2011 20:58

I don't get it either. I've heard people rave about the quality, blah, blah, blah... but I suspect I would look ridiculous if I tried to deck myself out in poly-blend 80's fashion. To pull it off I think you have to be a) very tall with no curves and b) rilly, rilly good-looking or androgynous or both.

mycatsaysach · 29/10/2011 21:00

dd gets some gym stuff from there

cyb · 29/10/2011 21:02

Its not for anyone over the age of 17.

The window display is hilarious, the type of thing Blanche from Corrie used to wear but because it's in there, it's HIP

I HATE their ad campaigns too

Saying that, my d got some bargains at their sample sale down Brick Lane a couple of weeks ago

I would only buy their basic stuff usually such as t shirts and plain cotton skirts for summer. It is a very overrated brand but it thrives off its 'vintage' feel clothing styles.

They have a range of denim coming out which I do very much like though. Otherwise, I would stick to the basics.
