I would like to recommend Primark's flocked coat hangers.

I bought some today and they are excellent. The flocking prevents your clothes from slipping off, they are nice and thin so space saving and the colours are lovely. I went for fuscia and purple for my wardrobe and black and red for dp's. For only £4 for 10 they are a bargain too.

i second this recommendation - i did get mine in tkmaxx though - about £7 for 18 and you can also get ones with a little hook on that make more space by kind of cascading the hangers downwards iyswim?

No they are covered in a thin layer of that velvet stuff like on the toy horses and animals you used to get.

I got some years ago off qvc but they weren't cheap. They are fab though.

Home bargains have them for £2-99 for a bundle, in different colours and they're just as good... and you can fit loads more clothes in your wardrobe because they're slim :)
