Apart from Clarks! My dd is a size 7E and clarks is the only shop i know that sells this but their range is very limited. Just wondering if anyone knows where i have a better choice, but not too old fashioned?

Have you tried startrite??

LIZS · 28/12/2005 17:25

Startrite have narrow fittings - try a small independent shoe shop , Russell and Bromley, John Lewis, Jones the Bootmaker - but they tend to be more expensive. Also some European brands such as Ricosta.

Thanks, can I get these online? Don't quite live in the middle of nowhere but not near these stores and being 37+ weeks with no3 I don't quite fancy trekking to the big city but then again good excuse for a day out while hubby on holiday!

You'd normally need to get them fitted - different brands come up different sizes so you can't assume a 7E startrite would fit and European sizes don't correspond directly.

mine have narrow feet (E) and buckle my shoe (no width fittings) come up really well - expensive though

my dd has narrow feet, you'd be best off with european makers, bought from an independent shoe shop. DD is currently in primigi boots, had these last winter, and had angelus sandals in the summer. not sure about online though, sorry

France for us - mind you, we're very close to the tunnel. Dd had real problems for a while as she was c fitting! Her feet have balanced out a bit now though.
