How to wear a silk scarf without looking like a cowboy?

I have bought a lovely liberty scarf, but struggling how to wear it without it looking like a cowboy neckerchief. Does anyone have any tips?

Liberty has in the past run scarf tying workshops. I think there are some links if you search on Google.

I'll have a look.

OOh that is fabulous! Though the waterfall is a little cowboyish ! Yee ha!
